History
The Tower Steppes is hardly worthy of being the last stand of humanity. Before the Keening, when the World Tree shook and fissures split open across the Heartland, The Tower Steppes were only notable for being where the Tower opened upon the Heartland. The land is mountainous and bare, unable to support all but the moss.

Rocky and inhospitable, the only feature of note of the steppes is that the Tower opens upon them.
